WHAT WE DO
At Big Little Minds Counselling, we endeavour to employ a multifaceted approach to addressing diverse needs. First and foremost, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is used to assist clients in identifying and modifying negative thought patterns. At times Solution-Focused Therapy is employed to concentrate on present and future solutions, emphasizing strengths and goals. When needed, we will use the lens of Trauma-informed therapy which prioritises safety and empowerment for those impacted by past traumas. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques are often integrated within therapy whilst simultaneously adopting strategies around mindfulness, meditation and breath-work. Giulia is a creative therapist whom often weaves Play, art and music when appropriate as an expressive tool in navigating complex or confronting emotions and experiences. This comprehensive blend allows for personalised and effective interventions.
